Genetic Testing

Has anyone ever had a DNA test that measures metabolism etc. My therapist suggested I have it done months ago. She says it will tell them what medicine would work the best for me & have the least amount of side effects. She says it's not fool proof but it does give a pretty good idea of what may be a good match.

I'm planning to ask her about it tomorrow. I'm terrified of SSRI's but I'm at a loss on what to do. Anyone have experience with this...?
