So I posted a topic a while ago about how I was going to a new school because I can't do my schoolwork, and I was doing VERY well in my new school. However, I realized today that I'm really struggling, and I feel like i'm slipping into old habits. For a while I was doing work like a friggin Jackrabbit, and now it seems like I have no motivation, and I feel the same like tugging in my chest, like my body is telling me DON'T WORK!
Please give me advise on how to shut this up and stay on task.
And I know I know I need it for a future I've heard it a million times, I really want something that will actually help. Thanks in advance!

Hey Ohokay, basically whats happening is that your having a setback. You were able to overcome many of your school troubles reinforcing positive thoughts that you can and will succeed. Unfortunately all your old negative thoughts don't go away and when they come up it is natural for them to scare you and for you to believe them. It happens to everyone. The only way to overcome them is to accept them. By fighting them you only reinforce and make them stronger. You give them power. One of my biggest fears was being tired. Sure enough every time i thought about being tired i became tired. So when you think about how you have no motivation and the inevitable emotions follow it, try your best to accept it and push forward doing a little work. Make small steps at first and never give up.
