I am new and I can't fall asleep because I am so anxious about a test I have tomorrow. I don't know what I'm doing or what I am suppose to do. Would anyone be able to help?

Where do you live where you are trying to sleep now?

Being nervous about a test is normal. Anxious, not so much unless the anxiety is manageable

Best thing that worked for me was laying on my back and working from my feet up, tense each group of muscles a few times and then fully relax them.

Do that all the way up to your neck and you will not be tense

Can't be tense and anxious at the same time

I also would listen to meditation music and slowly clear my mind and I would quickly fall asleep

Hope you get some rest and rock your test

Post your grade and we will let you know if you are smart enough to hang with us : )

And welcome to the site!

Edit. Can't be tense and relaxed at the same time. Only 1 cup of coffee so far!

Hi, i'm new too, welcome to the forum :)

Maybe try looking at it a different way, even if you're thinking you have no idea, tests can be re-sat.
All you can do is your best and be proud of that.
For sleeping i try to breathe in, count to 5 then breathe out, after a while you'll loose thought and nod off.

best of luck :)
