Hi all,
Has anyone experienced increased anxiety and panic while taking Prilosec, Omeprazole or any proton inhibitor? I started experiencing panic in August 2007 when an ENT prescribed 80mg prilosec/day. I stopped taking it after 10 days, only to suffer weird withdrawl symptoms, cognitive issues and strange muscle twitching/neuropathy. Here we are now 7 months later--and the anxiety and muscle twitches are still kickin'. My doctor insists that there is no connection between Prilosec and increased anxiety, but my online research suggests that there may be a link. I have heard that vitamin b deficiency can cause the above mentioned symptoms, but was wondering if anyone else here might have some input. I appreciate any information shared.
