I assume you work nights also?

Yes, I hate it! I only do it on weekends and then it throws my sleep schedule off causing me to be exhausted and have more anxiety

How long have you worked nights?

I did it for 10 years at my last job. Started here 2 years ago its swing shift so I work it 1 week a month. I agree that lack of sleep just adds to the anxiety

Are you thinking about leaving it because of anxiety issues or just because of the nights?

If you can leave, do it! Solid sleep is so important to everyone, and people like us especially.

How's the weather where you are? We have freezing rain (just stopped for now), and I've heard some plows or sanding trucks go down the main street. They were roaring by pretty fast, so I guess surprisingly it's not that slick. I know you have a commute soon! I'll probably be back in bed (hoping for sleep to come) in a bit... just got woken up by the rain.

Sleep is very important I agree. Its been snowing most of the night here I would guess we got little over an inch. I am in northeast Ohio

I'm south of you... .I think we get our snow later. That's a little easier to deal with - the freezing rain started again!

Yeah freezing rain is much worse than the snow but it's 11 degrees here so not much chance of any here. How far south are you?

Actually more like southwest - in Missouri. Still rain (sleet?) clattering against my windows! 18 degrees. There's a little snow, about an inch.
