Hello everyone. My name is Nick. I decided to try this because I've dealt with anxiety my entire life and I don't have many people in my life to talk to about it. My dad deals with anxiety as well, but he's a tough person to talk to. I have serious trust issues due to my anxiety causing me to over think everything. This is kind of a last resort for me. I've tried medication and therapists. It does me no good. I decided to try a forum because my motorcycle forum is helpful with that do I decide to give it a shot with this. Haha

Welcome Nick!!
How long is an entire life?
Ok, it runs in the family...not easy to talk to dad about it...
over thinking everything is common for all of us, gotta work on that..worrying does nothing.
What medications have you tried and what were the results??..
There are actually some good therapists out there, just have to find one...
Yes, this forum is a great place to be..many helpful people struggling and struggled just like you..

E-Man... :)

Sorry I'm 19 and my Dr has many put my on anti depressants such as Prozac. I'm not big on medication anyhow. My Dr wasn't big on the idea of putting me on benzos. I've done countless studies and reports on anxiety. Everything from medications and therapy to Freud. I try to understand more about it thinking maybe it will help.

Anyhow, does anyone ever notice "spikes" in their anxiety? Usually I can keep it under control, but lately not do much.
Thanks everyone for the welcome. I look forward to getting to know you all.
