citalopram and restlessness!

I am experiencinf awfull restlessness at night while taking citaloprame i am finding myself wide awake after using the toilet not being able to get go sleep at all my body feels like i could run a marathon i tosd and turn somethi g terrible and no matter how hard i try i cannot get back to sleep.

Im just wondering if anybodh bas experienced the same or have any remedies to solve it ease my sleep! I feel like a constant zombie at work!

Do you have any feelings as to what might be causing this restlessness?

Does it feel like a psychological tension, or does it feel like the meds are affecting you physically?

I guess I had something similar on Prozac.

On Remeron though, I had a kind of Akathisia that just meant I couldn't really rest and keep still.

I had this constantly on citalopram. Used a relax melodies app on my phone to play rain sound etc to aid sleep
