Hey E-Man, I remember my Dad starting on this pain killer a while back. I don't really know much, but he did seem to feel a little ill when he first started taking them, also he mentioned that when he got them from the hospital they had much more effect than the ones from the Pharmacy.
That's it.
Hope you get on well with them!

Great drug if you can take it. Had really bad drug interaction with the SNRI I was taking at the time. Once I was off the antidepressant and tried it again it really helped with the pain from 3 herniated discs in my back,

Hope it continues to work for you.
Cheers!
Pam

OMGAWDD!!!!
Yes, I have 6 herniated discs in my back. (3 in cervical spine, 3 in lower to mid back)
Spondylosis.
Retrolisthesis.
and the Neurosurgeon just laughed at me and said Nope, nothing I can do..
and I love this stuff at the moment,..I can think more clearly, I can see better, and my back isn't killing me or my neck either...

Thanks Pam!! and Welcome too!

Hey Chris,
I feel your pain, at least the lower half. ( lol)! Have you tried any acupuncture for pain management?

I'm in Canada and decided to give it a go a year ago. I kid you not, it saved my life! Not only did it help with the back pain it also helped with my anxiety/panic disorder. If you haven't tried it it may be worth considering. As you probably know the meds only work so long then you're S.O.L.

Cheers!
Pam

I absolutely promise you won't feel the needles. Biggest problem is staying awake, you get really relaxed!!

Then you will have an awesome sleep that night! Win-win in my books!!

Btw- I'm a bit slow, how do you add those cute smilies????

OMG you make me laugh..... Forgot my dog was on the same stuff. I should have got her meds at my pharmacy, and billed to my insurance. Would have cost me way less than what the vet charged!

Amazing what you can learn in a site for anxiety!!!

Good night all. That's it for me!

Crappy pain killer in my opinion. You are better off with real deal - the opiates.

I'm sure it's true of all pain killers that they work well for some, but not for others.

Still a very good feeling from this,..considering I've had no pain relief for over 14 months, this is a blessing! I can feel my legs now, rather than feeling like Mummy Man!!

BAAAAHA!! I swear I could catch them if I was confined to a wheelchair..That's the weird thing about this disease and damage, if something triggers me, I don't feel anything but I gotta be reealllllllyyyyy pissed off. Just can't live in constant "attack" mode.
I hope this stuff continues to help for more than just a few days...
And it has allowed me to remove 3 medications from my lists too and 1 that I shouldnt remove or I dont sleep!...I take it anyways, but have no real desire too..weird.

Glad you're feeling good Frankie!!

E-Man...... :D

I suppose that trigger is like adrenalin. You find something in the body and mind to get you through emergencies? The body and mind are wondrous aren't they! I am feeling good tonight. Thanks. I suppose when you get the full measure of what this med does for you in the coming weeks, it would be great if it allowed you to adjust from some of the others!

Frankie and E-man

It's great to hear you are both having successes (even if you are on the pooch meds E-Man) :D

Um, like matured already in a week..He sleeps alone now, doesnt jump all over me (just everyone else LOL!) and doesn't bite me (just everyone else!!!)...Still trying to potty train him though. Someone told me that 6 weeks was too young to take him from his mother but he seems to be doing just fine...:)
