Im sure theres a thread out there somewhere about this med, but I have an rx for escitalopram 10 mg and I took one last night about 10 or 1030 and I still feel totally out of it right now. I feel like im in a bubble and just spaced out, with some dizziness or lightheadedness and kind of weak. Is thia normal for this med? Im sure it is but is it normal to still feel this way 12 hours later? I was wondering if its one of those meds thats meant to stay in your body from one dose to the next?

My mother-in-law takes this med and she was kind of out of it for a few days when she started but is much better now. It takes a while for your body to adjust to it.

There is a website called "crazy meds" out there. They are really good at straight talk about the good, bad and ugly of all the pmeds out there. I found it quite helpful.
