For the past 2 weeks I have noticed what I think is my acid reflux really acting up. I've been on Omeprozole for years now which has helped but never taken it away completely. These past 2 weeks I've been getting chest pressure which I dont usually get and it goes away for a little while after I eat but always comes back. I have also noticed it comes everyday right after my shower. Never fails. Today it started after the shower and feels more like congestion. I am short of breath which I've noticed a lot more lately but I always get that once in awhile. What could this be? Should I be worried? Heart related?

I have been getting the same thing for the past three weeks or so. On some days my reflux has been really bad but lately my diaphragm area has been tightening up after I eat. I started taking Pepsid and it seems to get rid of the acid but it keeps feeling like I've pulled a muscle or something in my chest and back. It's very distracting but I don't have trouble getting around and my heart rate hasn't really changed. I do know my arm muscles feel like I've just gotten over something frightening/traumatic.
