Has anyone taken 5htp for your anxiety or depression. What was your experiences. Good and bad

It didn't really affect any of my issues directly, but when I took it, it put me in a better mood.

By being in a better mood, life was a bit easier :)

But it was fairly subtle

Just to let you know, Dont ever take 5htp whilst on any antidepressants..i still had 5htp in my system, whilst starting zoloft again and I felt like i was going to die..It has one of the most serious interactions, which can lead to serotonin syndrome! as both the herbal (5htp) and med. increase serotonin in your brain!
