Mood boost from Ativan?

I take Ativan every day for anxiety and I've noticed now I wake up in a bad mood, and awhile after I take the ativan I'm in a much better mood. My mood is still not great, but better than before taking the ativan. Has anyone else had this experience?

Mood boosting could be direct or indirect. Since benzos lower anxiety the lowered anxiety could be perceived by you as better mood. The other thing is that benzos can do both- cause depression and cure depression in different people.
