Hey friends, it's me again!
This upcoming tuesday will mark 3 weeks since being on Luvox and almost two weeks since increasing the dose to 100 mg. I am feeling maybe 20-30% better. I have a pdoc appt on Tuesday.
Should I keep giving Luvox a shot? I feel like my depression is still lingering. I have done some online research about adding Lamictal to Luvox for mood elevation ... maybe I'll mention that to her. Anyone take it? Maybe I just need to keep increasing the Luvox dosage?
She also gave me seroquel for sleep since Ambien isn't working too well anymore, and I tried it last night. Whoa- not for me. I took 25 mg at 3 am and was in this weird being asleep/being awake thing until 8 am when I decided to get up. ThirteenthOne- you were so right on the seroquel.
I am thinking about just asking her for name brand Ambien since I think the generic doesn't work well at all. Thoughts?
Also, I feel kind of bad for taking a benzo with Luvox ... I've been taking about .25 of ativan a day for about a week and a half now to get over the dose increase anxiety, but the anxiety is still there. I also have Klonapin I could try, but I think I read somewhere that Klonapin and luvox aren't best taken together. I just don't want to be on a ton of drugs ... I want something to just work.
