Hi guys! My name is Kaz and I'm new here. Not, new, of course, to my anxiety and OCD! I'm just looking to chat with people, mostly about my slight hypochondria that came about a few years ago after my compulsive behavior was addressed and redirected. I find that, instead of slipping back into old habits, I'm creating new ones. Like being so certain I'm going to be sick that I actually become ill! Anyone know which direction to point me in around here?

Hey, Kaz, nice to meet you and welcome to the forums!

There's plenty of people here to chat with. Plenty of support and great advice. Just have a look around post :)

I fell in the Summer and now I have a phobia of walking (and I walk dogs for a living) in area that there is nothing to hang on to just in case. I am so obsessed with this that I find myself not even able to walk to the mailbox. I was a bit agoraphobia and social anxiety before but this is making my circle of living smaller. The only time my phobia and panic subsides is when I take Xanax. It sucks that after 31 years of anxiety and panic attacks taking medicine still is the only relief -don't get me wrong I've been thru counseling, accupunture, etc. w/no avail!
