So I had been taking celexa for a while to help with anxiety and mild depression symptoms, but ever since stopping it I am having the oh so fun withdrawal symptoms. I have been lucky enough to only have headache and nausea, but it's still sucky. Does anyone have any advice that has helped with these types of problems?

Unfortunately it takes a bit of time for the body to adjust back (as a general rule about half the time it takes getting onto the meds).

Drink plenty of water and just keep reminding yourself it's a side effect of taking that step forward to living without the pills.

Hope it passes quickly for you :)

Hang in there. I was on Paxil and it took about a 3 weeks to get close to normal again. It will pass. Since your off the meds..... Check out the sticky thread about amino acids, L-glut amine and magnesium chloride. It is helping me post meds. You should be off the meds at least a week before trying this though...... But don't quote me on that. Just find the thread.

Peace
