Hi everyone! I'm an illustration student wanting to create a story book about Anxiety. It will be about a collection of superhero's / heroines (anxiety sufferers) who use feats of strength to defeat the evil monster/demon/villain (Anxiety).

I have devised a questionnaire which I'm hoping you lovely people might want to complete and I ask you to think about what you do to battle your anxiety. I would like to use your words of wisdom to both spread the word on useful hints and tips for others sufferers and to celebrate the strength and bravery involved. I want the superheros in my story to reflect ordinary people, but I would also like to incorporate an element of the typical superhero look. That said, I ask you to describe your current outfit and to think about a strong animal. Ultimately, I would like my superhero's in normal clothes but wearing a mask inspired by an animal of your choice.

Here's an example of a drawing I have done so far and what the others (based on yourselves) will look like 1024
And here's the questionnaire:

1. How long have you had Anxiety?

2. What would you consider your most effective coping mechanism to be

3. Describe your current outfit

4. Name an animal you personally associate with strength

Thankyou so much for any contribution you can make, I will also upload all drawings I do based on your response :)

Hi there!
I will try to help you out by answering your questionnaire:
1) I have had anxiety my whole life...as far back as I can remember.

2) My most effective coping mechanism is probably getting busy doing something that takes my focus away from the anxiety. I try to use that energy for something productive like cleaning or running errands.

3) I am currently wearing denim shorts that have blue and white vertical stripes and a blue t shirt with the American Eagle brand logo on the front.

4) I associate the female cheetah with strength.
