I have been tried out with several meds over the past few years for depression and severe anxiety.
Most meds mess up my sleep or else the ones that they give to help sleep make me groggy the next day.
I was on Sertraline 150mg for 18 months and liked it. However, after some testing they concluded that it was putting me at risk of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome by making my heart pulse much slower than normal.
They then moved me to Effexor 225mg and it just does not work at all. I have been on it now for 8 months or so and feel very low all the time.
Also I take 2mg of Rivotril once a day which is fantastic and really helps the anxiety. But the mood is very low all the time.

I know a lot of people are going to say counselling etc, but I have been seeing a counsellor, a psychiatrist, and a psychologist for 3 years aswell as going to a mental distress group. Whilst they help temporarily it just does not work for me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

L-glutamine, that's all I'll say. Wal Mart cheap, effective fast. Calm and even mood. Peace

Did you not see the word calm? LOL

You can lead a monkey to L-glutamine but you can't make him get some. :D

Yea I disregarded ALL the postings about it for a month then got ahold of Eman and ta da. Peace
