Why? Antibiotics do not expire easily, What they put on the sticker in pharmacy do not mirror the true, The meds were probably 5 years old....

I take 5 together and still kicking.... make a break between them a half an hour or so, it will absorb into blood stream and you are going to be fine

My mom retired from a hospital pharmacy and is very knowledgable about prescription meds. She says most drugs are still good for up to 2 years past the marked expiration date. They certainly won't harm you, they just lose strength over time.
