Suffer from emetophobia which makes my panic all the worse as a symptom of my panic attacks is nausea my legs go so weak when I feel this extreme panic I feel as if I have no strength I'm new to this and am pretty lonely as this phobia cuts you off from the social interactions of normal day to day life so if anyone would like to chat I ll get back as soon as x

Hello, Jaycee. I'm new here too, but I was immediately welcomed with open arms and almost instantly, I felt better knowing that there are other people here, seemingly right with me. I think you will find that you will find people that you will connect with too if you keep searching through the threads and offering advice when you can. I do not have emetophobia, but I do have regular panic attacks and feel a weakness that spreads to my limbs probably similar to what you feel. It is a scary feeling but please tell yourself that you are okay. Tell yourself confidently that you and only YOU are in control and that you won't let this hold you back. There is help. Pursue activities that distract and calm you down. I personally love to draw so I will do that when I'm panicky. There are plenty of people who do awful things to their body regularly and continue to thrive. You will thrive too as you have survived everything and will continue to do so. When it comes down to the nitty-gritty, your only responsibility is existing and boy, that's an easy job :)
Reading helps. Read about panic attacks and emetophobia because it will help you put things into perspective. The feeling seemed much smaller after I read about Panic Disorder.
"Oh, people who have Panic Disorder feel tingly, mistake it for heart attacks, and perspiration too? That must mean it's a normal feeling for those who experience this too."
That was an epiphany that really helped me see the light.
You can never know too much about your disorder and you'll be able to scale it down.
Best of luck!
