I looked back at my posts and could not find an introduction post so I will introduce myself again if I overlooked it.
My name is Jamie. I have had panic attacks for the good part of 13 years and off and on since I was 8. I am 31 years old now and I still haven't kicked the panic attacks. I have done the Linden method, I have been taking xanax since 2002. I started out on .25mgs and I am now on 6mg a day if needed. I take 4mgs a day as of right now unless I have a really rough time. I basically stay inside all the time. I have been on so many different types of medicine I probably couldn't even list all of them. I was taking clonipin along with the xanax but I stopped.
I am now taking chlomipromine. I am not too sure it is working. When I started taking it I was on 25mg and I upped my dose (as my doctor told me) to 50mg. A few weeks ago and I haven't seen any results yet. I have heard it was a good medicine so I am still waiting it out.
I am not sure the reason why I started having panic attacks but I do know that they keep me from doing every day activities. I hate it.
