Hey there
I'm hoping to stop sertraline, I've been on 100mg for 1 year and 50mg for the second year, I was first prescribed them when i was struggling, I'd just lost my job, i couldn't eat and i was home bound because of panic attacks. Obviously I don't want to feel like that again if i stop taking them.

I quit smoking about 2 months ago and for the last month i have had increased tiredness and decreased libido, i think because i don't have the nicotine in my system so I'm noticing the sides more.
I know Sertraline builds up in the system so if i did stop and i struggled it'd take longer to be normal again?
I thought maybe halving my pill so reduced to 25mg what do you think?

Any input/help is greatly appreciated
Thanks guys and girls.

I've only been on setraline for just over 9 months now and I'm on 50mg,give it a go and see if your ok doing it,I took half for a while and was fine so I don't see why it would not work for you :)
I went back up as needed to for the moment
Good luck

Give you system more time to adjust to not smoking if you did for a while. It takes time to adjust. Lots of chemicals in cigs besides nicotine. Alankay
