Hello everybody! My name is Joe and I'm new to this forum. I've suffered anxiety/OCD since I was 10. I'm 42, married with a 5 year old son now. What else can I say...it's been roller coaster of emotions and fears. My anxiety is predominantly triggered by how I feel. If I feel well, all is well. If not, I obsesss over whatever aches and pains come my way and it's always the worse case scenario!!! There's a list of anxiety symptoms and it seems like I've been through the majority. What doesn't help either is not getting enough or fully restful sleep. My sleep is often times interrupted throughout the night; I simply wake up every 2-3 hours. Sometimes I can get back to sleep, sometimes I can't. It's a million thoughts a minute and those negative and racing thoughts are the ones that really get to me! It's been this way for a long time and I just do my very best to cope with it. Anyway, I'm working through my issues and just want to feel like I can relax and enjoy life. Looking for some additional support here and maybe I can help others in need as well. It's always nice to read that I'm not alone in this...

I can appreciate your comment, Issy! We really are spoiled here on the west coast of the US with beautiful weather year round. What part of London do you live in? Have you traveled much?

Thanks NeverToo...I feel the love already. I appreciate the support. It's great to be able to connect with others struggling to get through as we deal with this anxiety thing.
