I've had my anxiety everyday now for the past 2 weeks. Sometimes I'm ok sometimes I'm over the edge. I'm exhausted and throw up every morning. I go all day without eating. Even though I feel like I'm starving. The thought of eating makes me sick. I've been trying to eat here and there. I've lost 20 lbs in the 2 weeks. Heyy I'm not complaining. I could use it. But I know it's not healthy. Does anyone else get like this??

When my anxiety gets bad I can't eat or sleep. The best advice I've gotten was from a therapist who said to try and eat small amounts of "homey" foods that make you happy normally. Since it's happened multiple times, when I start to feel that nauseous/can't even think about food feeling I try my best to make myself eat anything to try and stop that cycle from beginning, even if it doesnt automatically fix the anxiety

Are you using any meds that interfere with your appetite? Peace

Oh and I do try to eat the things I know I really like. But honestly most times. I don't wanna eat anything. My mom suggested those meal replacement shakes. But when I had ppd 12 years ago I tried them and they made me sick. So even the thought of having one makes me gag

I like what jjh333 said. Eat little bits here and there. I know for me in the morning I have a new routine. 2 bananas (get blood sugar going normally), and then I munch on raw almonds, good stuff and crunching makes it a stress reliever. Peace

not wanting to eat is such a hard battle, especially when just looking at food you normally like makes you nauseous. keep trying at it and let us know how it goes!
