Heart rate?

Hi,I know this might be a stupid question,but do people have panic attacks WITHOUT their heart racing?i can get really panicky but sometimes my heart is fine but my chest burns and feels tight??

I would get panicky without the racing heart but if it was a full panic attack, I believe it was always racing.

I would find it odd if all that adrenaline got dumped, your heart wouldn't race.

But I truly don't know the answer to that question for a fact

I've been told that panic attacks can occur in a huge variety of ways depending on each individual person's physiology.

I really don't know much on the topic though, hopefully someone can jump in & clear it up.

Hi Sara... Do you take any medication that might control your heart rate? Like blood pressure medications?
