First session of CBT tonight...

Having my first CBT session tonight!! Looking forward to it in a strange way, I guess its the knowing that i'm on the road to recovery. Will let you all know how it goes!

Got a hangover this morning so anxiety is horrible!!! Feeling light-headed and just generally really anxious!! Plus, had an argument with my boyfriend last night when I was drunk and we areon the verge of breaking up... great!!! So yeah... i'm feeling really shit right now.

I remember that CBT excitement!!! I got the call saying they could fit me in, come in 2 days, I was like yeaaaaah I think I'm gonna get better now!!!

Yeah, i'm quite looking forward to getting everything off my chest to someone who will just sit and listen. I do talk to my parents about it but they don't really understand so I keep a lot to myselg. Obviously, I share everyhting on here but it's not the same as actually saying it out loud!

Red wine and Champagne... oops!! I can't drink southern comfort anymore... I was at a friends house party and everyone was pretty smashed, and I decided I wasn't drunk enough yet so grabbed the southern comford straight out of the bottle. I did not feel good the next day!

Yeah, he gets fustrated with me when I have a panic attack and he doesn't understand how I feel. I think he worries though, even though he will never admit it.

I think it's hard for them as it's not something they can see and if they have never experienced a panic attack then they just don't realise how scary they are

I know, I remember the first time I had one I had no clue what was going on so I called the doctors and she said you had a panic attack.. i was like a panic attack can be that scary?? she was like yeah, you won't die from a panic attack.. i was shocked!
