Leave a really tasty chocolate bar on the side. Look at it for 5 minutes until you want to DEVOUR it.

Then tell yourself you can only do it after calling your boss back.

Who cares what she says...

You're only doing it so you can get to the chocolate!

People like your ward manager don't make anxiety any easier, she sounds like a nasty piece of works and very unprofessional. I think your colleagues will be alot more compassionate and understanding of your situation. So don't start building negatives in your head which will stop you from returning to work as I find my anxiety is at it's worst when I'm not working and I have nothing to do/ take my mind of it. All the best.

I like the more natural things so, I try to concentrate on a healthy lifestyle.
Good sleeping pattern
Regular exercise running, dog walks, boxing related workouts, eating healthy.
Just these few small changes have a big impact on my anxiety, I just need to get back into the swing of things after 2 weeks of naughtiness over Christmas :) I am not on any prescribed medication but I do use alot of valerian which seems to take the edge off. Hope this helps :)
