Have had anxiety since 1999. Although I have been able to have a job off and on over the years, it has now been 2 years since I have been able to work and I filed disability and they denied it. I am now in the appeal process and I am seeing a psychiatrist and a counselor that is part of the county and they are unable to sign disability or lawyer paperwork. So I'm stuck. Is anyone on permanent disability because of their anxiety?

Here in Blighty you would get laughed out the door if you applied for DLA stating anxiety as a reason. Getting finacial help from our goverment is like trying to get blood from a stone, unless of course your foreign in which case your given every benefit going, free house..etc..heck bring your whole family over we will sort them out too..

For sure MIST. You get laughed out of the door here too if you have a leg hanging off and a broken neck :(

Jeez!

I like how they say fit for work. Technically Stephen Hawking is 'fit for work', he has a job... Fit for work doesn't mean work is gonna be good for you, or mean that you can even find a job at all, or one that will be suitable for you without making you feel worse.

System is so dumb.
