Think I might have had my first one at work . I just felt light headed and started to feel as if u couldn't breath. Then my heart started racing and i felt I was going to pass out.. Is this normal . I got into a argument with my wife earlier and things are bothering me so it could be Stress related

Than yeah just a panic attack. A clean bill if health is the first step to recovery. Otherwise it can lead to health anxiety causing more panic attacks. Pain in the ass I tell ya. What's you're worst feat when having one?

Passing out or just suddenly dying is mine. I've done extensive research about passing out during a panic attack. And them in general. Here's some reassuring information you can use when you feel panicky. Passing out during a panic attack is very very rare. Even though it may feel like seconds away. Panic attacks are our fight/flight response system. Our body is pumping blood through our body raising our blood pressure. Passing out is a result of low blood pressure.

But that's the worse though. Being at work and having like 8 hours left. I have full empathy.

The detatchment is coming down from a heightened state of anxiety. The neurons in you're brain are moving slower causing the effect. I KNOW it's uncomfortable buy don't focus on it and it'll go with time.
