View Full Version : Does anybody get anxious when feeling there own heartbeat

I could feel fine then i get a thumping of my heart then i instantly get anxious then i think in my mind what if it goes fast and doesnt slow down,i could easily get really anxious just by listening to it beating away,or have a panic attack because am that fed up with it thump thump:(( is anybody like that?

Yes and it's really annoying. I find my heart rate goes crazy after eating, no idea why. You just have to remember that there is nothing wrong with it, it always sorts itself out given a little time, maybe it's just something it needs to do.

Thanks for the advice:))my heart goes faster and stronger beat when i have eaten and especially after eating bread,but my doctor said eating food shouldnt make your heart go faster but i disagree:( if i didnt feel the beat of my heart i wud be a different person x

yes, and it always annoys me, and scares at the same time, I should be used to it, but no..;)

Am the same had that for years off and on when i eat but can never seem to not get frightened x

Hi fisher are you on any meds to help? Beta blockers would help with this as I am on them and have been on and off for years,inbox me if you want a chat :)

I experience this all the time! I also get frequent heart papiltations from anxiety, making it even more difficult to get my heart beat off my mind.

I am on beta blockers and still getting irregular heartbeat, scares hell out of me
