Anxiety, no?

Do you have children Blessed? Do you think having kids makes your anxiety stronger?

Blessed- It is just anxiety. The chest pains are making your anxiety heighten, in turn causing other symptoms as well (warm sensations).
I do this ALL the time. I will have one symptom and start thinking I am dying....that will in turn make my anxiety even worse and I will start having all sorts of symptoms.
Try to calm down....drink some hot tea, meditate, take a nice warm bath with candles.
I have children too....4 wonderful children, but BOY can they stress me out sometimes. Other times, they bring me comfort.....
Take it in stride my friend....this too shall pass! :o)

Chest pain, palpitations and shortness of breath are always terrible symptoms to experience. Hope you all feel better soon.

Better thank you . My anxiety kept me awake last night after that episode but I feel better now, man I am so sick of worrying about this all the time. If I have a symptom I automatically assume the worst. It's never anything logical

Is it possible for you to try something else, like the omeprazole for a few days instead of that protonix???

It may actually BE the protonix causing much of your problem..the omeprazole is MUCH better tolerated friend.....

Please try it instead!!!....:)

My doc switched me from omeprazole to protonix because he said it wasn't strong enough. :(

Your doctor was probably correct. Protonix is much stronger, especially if we're talking about the OTC version of Omeprazole vs Rx version of Protonix. They are both in the same drug family, Protonix is Pantoprazole, Prilosec is Omeprazole. They are both Proton Pump Inhibitors.

Taking 2 within 4 hours should not be done unless instructed by your doctor. Never take more than directed. The medication stops your stomach from producing acid. Taking more than directed probably won't contribute to its effectiveness.

Are the chest pains the same as always? Are they the same you described to your doctor? If you swallow or move around, can you make them less intense, or temporarily go away?

The med calls for one 40mg pill twice a day, I've only been taking one but today I felt like I needed two. The chest pains are hard to describe its dull and achy, I used a new machine at gym last night where I had to use my arms maybe that's it??? Should I be concerned?

You have the same problem that Ms. Ashlee did, muscle sprain...You should've said that first B!!...No, no concerns...the new machine is the cause.

If your Doc calls for 80mg, then take 80mg Blessed!!...that'll at least rule out the GER...

Given your past survivals, your diagnosis of anxiety, your clear test results... I wouldn't be concerned at all!
