Why is my anxiety always bad at night, I can feel an attack coming on right now, tingling in left arm and leg an horrible feeling of dread!! Why does this have to happen!!!

Have a night light, that sometimes helps me. But this is what I have learned and now my night anxiety is basically gone.. After like.. A week of having it bad. It may help that I tire myself out during the day (gym, work, cleaning etc) but as soon as it's time for bed it comes more apparent that my mind is very active. As soon as I feel panic I say NO, and tell my self 'relax, your doing good and your okay' them ask yourself questions 'what can you hear? It's relaxing isn't it, it means your safe in bed, nothing will happen' as soon as I've calmed down even the slightest, (this part I havnt told anyone before but it works) I imagine really hard.. Just myself and I have a genie and this genie can do anything. I tell myself what is like to change.. For example, hair a little longer, skin 2x darker, where I want the weight gone and how much muscle I have, perfect skin etc. by the time I go through my general changes (skin and weight) I'm generally asleep.

I'm the opposite. My anxiety is worst in the morning and improves at night. It's so annoying.

My anxiety is worse in the morning and at night and that sounds like a good thing to do to help relax your body! I try to tire myself out even if I don't sleep at night I be up I think okay well maybe the night day I will be able to sleep since I didn't go to sleep last night but still, I will sleep for a couple of hours and still be up walking around and things like that

Reading a book lying in bed helps my anxiety. It helps relax me & keeps my mind off things. Try it, it's a really big help.
