On a whim, I did some internet searches, lo and behold I found this link on Trolls and what can be done about them.

I'm not sure they're referring to the little gnarlish people. Did you see the movie "Elf", Santa's elves experimented with using Trolls to make the toys, but they were flatulent curmudgeons. LOL.

Seems like Trolls suffer like everyone else, they just deal with it differently and in the wrong way.

I feel bad for them, but it's important to not feed them so that kind of behavior isn't encouraged.

I see one thread on this forum currently that has a troll......I refuse to respond on that one anymore once I realized what they were up to. Part of my anxiety recovery is avoiding anxiety provoking people and/or situations.....so I removed myself.

That's kind, I thought the same thing after I read it all. Members should have civility (reasonably at least) and an openness to realizing that at least parts of problems that they see in the world are actually things they have issues with in themselves but externalize it to try to cope. When everybody else is wrong, we need to reexamine our own motivations. IMHO

Edited: An interesting take, from Carl Jung, on problems within us that we project into the world.
