Hey guys and gals,

I think i have a pretty good diet, i eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and never eat ready meals..etc

I found over the xmas period and eating less than idealy that my anxiety increased and i felt sluggish and a bit icky..LOL

Anyone else noticed a link between what they eat and anxiety levels?

Gluten seems to add to my anxiety, any carbs do for that matter

I do better when I stay away from simple sugars and stay with veggies, fruits and good sources of protein. Avoid/minimize caffeine and alcohol too. Good diet is under recognized in our healthcare system more focused on technology and pharma. Yes there is sure a time for that but good diet, exercise, sleep and stress control are vital. Alankay

I feel like it really affects my anxiety...because my anxiety is heart related anything with chocolate, caffeine
Simple sugars..,will leave Me weak and tired and more vulnerable to anxiety
