I deal with the same feelings. I know there is nothing wrong with me but physically but I sometimes find it hard to let it go. Like today. I am getting the thoughts I am going to die but I just keep telling myself. What evidence do you have to back that thought up? There is none so go away. I am not saying it is easy but it is something that you need to remind yourself of.

I guess everyone to varying degrees.

It's in our genes, no getting away from it.

I suppose the consolation is you won't be there. Where death is you can't be, and where you are death can't be.

AT some level and time we all get that(http://www.livestrong.com/article/138049-what-is-existential-anxiety/). A mute point as we all have our time ultimately so we must simply "make the best of it we can" IMHO. Well and you know what? It's OK. Just is and has to be. You see, all living things are in that same boat. Always have and will. So live and love well!! Do much good!! Aankay

Acetaminophen for Existential Anxiety and Propranolol for PTSD, but for Propranolol it has to be administer at/near the crisis and given for a few weeks. Purportedly it alters the impact of the memories, so that you still remember what happened but the memories have lost their strong feeling tones.

Apparently it can be administered after the crisis as well, but requires reactivation of the offending memories.

Interesting.
