WARNING: TMI..For my women friends!! Please advise!!

I have had the weirdest period this month. I started having brown discharge about 4 days before I started menstration. I started today, but it's been just weird. Bright red, lots of chunks, and I have to pee every 30 minutes!! I know this is graphic and I'm sorry :o/ just really weird for me. I plan to see my doc when I get back from vacation. Has anyone else ever had a weird menstrual cycle like this? It's really creeping me out!

I have irregular cycles like that just about every month.....and it lasts a solid 10 days....ugh. ...I hate it.

Hmmm... I haven't had a cycle like the one you're describing before, that I can remember. I know that after very bad anxiety episodes I have an overactive bladder for one thing. Could it be caused by anxiety? Anxiety can really upset your body's balance, like I'm sure you know already. Sorry if I'm not of much help. :/

I have that too but I have a condition called adenomyosis. Sucks big time. I do know thy the brown discharge is just old blood and is normal. Maybe your hormones are out of whack this month?

That does sound weird, but periods can be very strange. They can be affected by your diet, exercise, stress, medications... seeing your doctor is a good idea, but try not to overthink it in the meantime. I've had weird periods and asked my gynecologist about it, only to be shrugged off and told "Yep, that's normal."

I was thinking exactly the same thing it does really sound like an early preggers period. IF not then what hiswaywardgirl said is spot on there are a number of things that affect your period so i wouldnt worry to much but get it checked out if its worry you

To me it sounds like your body is having a clear out (flushing out toxins/old blood) thats usually when theres beeen a change to your hormones tho so something like pregnant, medication, stress, birth control change could all be a factor.

I hope no men read this post this must sound like a horror film plot to them haha :D

No not pregnant. Definitely a period. Feeling a little better. More regulated on my 2nd day. Just crazy!!
