Hello, I am new to the forum. I just hope that talking to people with similar experiences will help me recover. I have had 3 panic attacks since early 2013. I have been going to a therapist and did cbt therapy. It has been great. I have been able to control the way I think and it has helped me not lose control if I feel my anxiety is rising. But I do have triggers that I need to overcome. The most difficult one is the tension pain trigger. I have tension on my left trapezius that travels down my back. I also have bad posture so I have also get pain in my left pectoral muscle. This causes me to think I have a health issue with my heart. So once the pain gets to a point that I cannot tell myself it is my muscles the thoughts start spinning and it is hard for me to get myself out of it.

Hey moralfe

Welcome

A lot of positives in your post. Great the CBT managed to work. It is an effective therapy isn't it!

Sounds like you are still struggling a little, but it's a really good thing you know what your triggers are. Makes it much easier to work through.

I hope you can work on your posture, and do some exercises to remove a lot of the muscle tension, and get over the last of it!

Good luck
