Hello! I'm new to the forums and to this anxiety stuff.
I'm 29 and had my first anxiety attack last year. I thought I was having a heart attack! The heart doctor did an ekg, a stress test, and an ultrasound and said my heart was fine it was probably anxiety. I thought dince I knew what it was I could manage it and I did for six months, but then I had several attacks (all felt like heart attacks) so I looked for help.
Now, I've been on Prozac for about three months and it seemed to help at first, but with the holiday stress I've been having an attack every night. I see the doctor tomorrow to try and figure something out. Any suggestions on what I should ask? I have GERD also, and my anxiety attacks seem to aggravate my GERD symptoms which makes the anxiety worse! I feel like I am seriously having a heart attack! It's just scary and I want to get it all under control.
