In a slump - stopped walking. thinking of pushing myself this morning.
All the perceptions people are coming up with and all the "pumping" Outshining -ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz Selling - I need to find somewhere that rides with deflating. Hahar LOL - It's different when hearing from people such as yourselves though - OH MY - what do I mean people ... LOL OMG - ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz I think I mean hearing from people that seem more in touch with the feelings - Yourself, Tailspin and Jesse - Unfortunately there is a rampant undertone, or dare I say overtone that gets under my skin here - of late. Too much feeding the dragon going on.
I wonder if you feel it at times?
Have a good day. I am going to try and do some brain training by doing again - might take my trekking poles for the uphills on the bush tracks. Oh how I year for winter, yet know I must greet today. Peace Dahila.

Hi Dave, I know I'm not Dahlia, but I'm wanting to say hi anyway!! Hi Dave!! I'm sorry you're in a slump and I'm just here to say I can relate. I also (I think) know what you're getting at about certain undertones feeding the dragon. I can relate to that. I don't know if it's my skewed pereception (very possible) but at times it can feel a bit like a competition to see who is the most "recovered".....And, if you're still struggling, well, it must just be because you aren't trying hard enough. Ya know?? Well, I say, fuck that shit!!! Most of us are doing the best we can. And for some it's just a longer road than others. I'm with you on that road, friend!!!!
Hope you get back out there in the bush and post some more pics! Wishing you well, Dave!

You got it Tailspin ... also the use of the word - CURE - just does not sit right with me. I mean not to criticize individually - but can't help seeing the misinformation as I see it when feeling so low. As if we should never experience such a thing again after finding the next Big Fix ... Thanks for your response. Much appreciated.

Oh I can not believe, HI Dave, I am just busy, by the way guys, one gentleman has problem to post anything on forum, do you have any suggestion?
Ponder, I think we should sometimes let yourself do nothing, stop all the activities and just rest, I am sad today, somehow it is like seeing a move, my life movie. All the abuse I went through came back and I feel so much pain I can hardly take any air in. I know it is the passing of my friend influencing my state. I do not know what to do.....
I am happy to see you guys, Tailspin and Dave :))) very happy
I went through your post and I got it. I think i did. My two favorite elfs here ;)

Hi Dahlia! It's good to see you too. I'm sorry you are sad today and that the recent passing of your best friend is bringing up a lot of other painful feelings and memories. It's good to hear you have been keeping busy. That can be such a life-saver. I really hope tomorrow is a better day and I wish you much pleasure continuing to make your creams! Hugs to you, Dahlia! xxxxx

Thanks guys, I think seeing you and reading the posts helps mi in this feeling of impending doom. I hope I can shake it off because I have people over on Sunday. One lady is from my Old Country another lives in Canada but different city. I have to be all right for the visit.
Ponder thanks I will:)
I am planning to play a chemist between Xmas and New year, I will be free to do what I wanted cause I have the break from work.
Guys did you ever drink black coffee with honey? it is delicious, you should try.

Thanks Dave. Really goes with out saying I hope you're able to get on top of some things and get back to your fighting best soon! I hope the holiday season brings a little fun in from somewhere too! Must be darn hot there now in your summer, the heat and health conditions never really go hand in hand. I'm quite enjoying the crisp cool mornings we have here in London right now. A walk through a quiet park early in the morning with the crisp air, and light dustings on frost making everything look beautiful is almost recharging for my soul!!

Dahila, one of my favourite snacks is cheese, with a small amount of honey, and crushed up coffee beans on top. The combination of strong cheese, sweet honey, and slightly bitter coffee is such an interesting combination :)
I've actually never thought of putting honey in black coffee. I will give it a try in a bit when I make one!

I'm genuinely pleased to here you talk about London like that - given the hustle and bustle. I guess the air settles some overnight and the trees acts as a little filtering system to some degree. Have you ever tried laying on the grass during either the quiet or busy periods? It can be quite a sensory experience in a place like London doing such a thing. I use to do that in Sydney quite a bit. Yes, the heat sure is picking up here, but that's OK - my wife seems to be coping well enough for now. I will just be more aware with snakes when I go off track - although the media is frightening some of the public in town with the latest snake hysteria. My son is coming with me this time, and I guess that does make me worry more than usual with regards to snakes. He is a good kid, but not raised in the bush like myself - He can be a little absent minded and always pulls the trigger first kind of thing. He is very intelligent - and seems to have his own philosophy already which I have found rather hopeful given that he can think about the world affairs as he does. In fact he reads books on Afghanistan and some other wars recently happening around the world and is able to explain to me more of what's going on than I can ever get from the news.
My Job tomorrow will be to keep him from stepping in the wrong spots, whilst he teaches me more of what he knows. Actually, now I know what to talk about when he gets board with the crickets and mosquitoes.
Thank you for your well wishes - I will indeed begin to enjoy the season, starting tomorrow.
Peace to you, my friend.

Hi guys, I am sending the vibes the good vibes from -15 and it is just after 9 in the morning. Every one keep warm and cool (Dave) It took me some time to convince myself that honey is good substitute for sugar, it is . I got raw honey which suppose to help with allergies. Allergies is something I have enough for ten people, it is one of the reasons, maybe the most important that I started to make my own products.
Do you think my first soap will come all right? Lye is kind of worrying me... The package with oils just came. I am ready to go. I have the itch in my hands to do it immediately. It is kind of hard to restrain myself when I get something in my mind.
Jessed your snack is the most exotic snack, I had ever seen. Must be delicious. I will try it. What is your favorite cheese?
Coffee (I always drink black) with honey has a deep, velvety taste. It sounds stupid but it is the way I feel it.
BTW are you in London in UK? or the other one, in Canada?

I had the tv on in the background once, and heard the recipe on a cookery show. I think it was perhaps Jamie Oliver, I dont know if you have him in Canada. I thought, what an interesting snack, and went to try it immediately. At first I did t like it, then I liked it, then didn't like it. I couldn't work out if it was good or not! In the end I begun to enjoy the complex flavours. Some people are too scared to even try it when I offer! I do like interesting food though!
I think that's why I love Indian food so much. There are so many interesting tastes and flavours. So many contrasts too! You can have the richness of ghee mixed with fresh, light herbs. You can have the chillis and spices mixed with warm cinnamon. You can have spice, mixed with sweet chutney. Their cuisine really is one of my favourites!
Luckily it's very popular in London. An Indian restaraunt exists almost on every street. Many Indian cookery shows are popular too. I actually think Indian cuisine was voted britains favourite food!!
I havent had the chance to try coffee yet. I wasn't sleeping so well, so thought it's best not to drink coffee as well! I have decaf, but I prefer proper coffee.
Did you get the chance to make your soaps yet Dahila?
I wish you could trade some of that cold weather with Dave, for some of his warm weather, so you could both have comfortable temperatures! :D

Hi Guys,
1stly I am sorry that I have not had the energy to read over everyone's post in here. I am feeling really tired and struggling to get back on my feet with so much to do.
I do have a question though - Do any of you know how to use the ignore feature?
It can be a handy tool and I could use it about now. That way I can continue making my posts without the worry of being sidetracked.
It's OK if you don't know - just trying to save the hassle of contacting admin.
I'm going to try and make a post, but again apologize for not catching up. I guess I am feeling rather lazy - once I start feeling better - I''ll touch base for sure.
Thank You.

Hi Ponder, I am sorry you need the option of ignore, I think you need to block the one who is worrying you, I hate it. So many people are hostile to others. Is that right word? Take your time to rest and get the energy back , we will be here :)
Jessed I could not start the soap yet because it was so busy in work and I have some people over tomorrow, so a lot of cooking and cleaning. My hubby screwed up the bread yesterday, so today I had to do 4 loafs of bread. Now my driveway is covered with snow and I am finishing the coffee black without anything, and fire up my snowblower. It is so cold brrrrrr
Do u feel sorry for poor Dahila:)))))))))?

Thank You Dahila. Yes you are right. I am not always successful in treading lightly and sometimes full understand if others must block me. It's not a personal thing - just makes sense for such a tool to be in place I guess.
I have been frustrated in recent posts, but finding my way back. Just did a post that makes me feel better ... will post that now. I am glad you have the energy to do as you do. :)
Srry to hear about your bread , but know how quick you will be to bounce back with that. :)
PS --- I worked it out. TY.

Hi my bread is replaced and the artisan one came awesome. I think I finally got the feel for it. snowplowing done, Clean house, clean bedding, and I collapsed, Thanks heaven here in the computer chair:))
I am so, so happy to see you back Dave:)
Jessed, I got my question answered, thanks, and squirrel are the enemies of bird watchers, at least here. This year I had to stop feeding the birds because they showed and ruined half of my rock garden, looking for bulbs. It is pest in Canada, even is the cute one. I have to admit I feed them too. I get the peanuts and feed them in the park:)
Jessed I wish I was as old as you are, beside you are really a nice person:)

Hi Dave, to use the ignore list;
Go to settings in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Then when the page opens... Scroll down a little, and there is a box on the left titled in green; 'My settings'
In this box, there is a subheading in grey called 'My account'.
The bottom option is 'Ignore list' and you can just type in the name you'd like to ignore.
A little returning of the favour for the inserting emotions advice I hope :)
Edit: PS just read you'd figured it out. Duh! Looks like it's time for a little black coffee with honey finally to wake me up!

I'll search the posts and find it for you Dahila. Dave done a great write up about how to do it! :)
How is the weather there in Canada? It's so mild here today! I have the window open, I'm in a tshirt, and I even have a chilled drink!!!! Strange for December!
Canadian birds sound like a nuisance haha! I'm not sure if you have issues with foxes like we do here in London? They knock over bins, go into gardens, fight all the time. It became like a law not to feed them, as they were 'vermin'. Still I leave some food across the greenery for them. What is the sense if you have left over food to throw it away, when an animal is outside very hungry? I know people are annoyed by them, but a happy and fed animal surely isn't a nuisance like a hungry one with babies to feed!! When they eat they go away, and I never see them. Only when they are hungry they dig through bins and make a mess.
I admit I am not jealous of you having to snowplough!!! Hehe.
Still, it makes a nice home! Everything tidied, bread cooking, snow ploughed! Very homely Dahila :)

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/canada/ontario/london In my city:)) I hope you will be able to open the link, so far we got like 20 cm of snow and is snowing ......cold , I like cold, just driving is dangerous. Foxes behind my fence, so are coyotes and racoons and skunks. Opossum seems to like living in city. I am living on the edge of city, and behind the fence we have wild, my fence is tight does not let the air through so deer like to sleep beside it. Of course it is outside my property. I have snakes, not poisonous, moles, voles. Hummingbirds, and others. I can not complain on lack of nature, I step to the garden I have it. Foxes are not vermin , they are cleaners of the forest or suburban.. I love them, they are so cute:)

Coyotes, possums, raccoons.... They're as exotic to me tigers and giraffes hehe! (Even though we're meant to have lots of raccoons here, they must just be shy of me as I've never managed to see one!!)
It's good that you like the cold, given that Canadian weather! I will go and check on the map where Ontario is. My Canadian geography isn't so good! :D
Anyway, here is the post Ponder wrote, about inserting emotions and smileys into his posts. It's very thorough! (You could t expect anything less from Ponder!) It's post number #10.

Allow me to share my emote hints and tips:
The following site makes it easy:
http://www.sherv.net/Animated-MSN-Emoticons.html
______________________________________________http ://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/penguins/happy-feet-penguin-smiley-emoticon.gif (http://www.sherv.net/emoticons.html)
Once it loads up, I usually go to the top right hand corner and search in the "Enter Search Terms Box" http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x30/davekyn/big-smiley-cryingresized_zpsb58d097a.gif[/IMG] (http://s181.photobucket.com/user/davekyn/media/big-smiley-cryingresized_zpsb58d097a.gif.html)
If I want to say welcome someone, then I type in Welcome
Nothing comes up ???
Good example that the site is not that great with search strings - lets try something else (if I can't find what I am looking for there - I show you next best after this lesson)
Search for hmmmm ---- laughing
You can scroll down the page and click next or 1-5
Actually I type in "hysterical"
Then click on one emote you like:
The next page will offer you more on the same line of thinking - so you could always choose again or if you want to use the selected one up the top now being display:
Find the yellow CODE box - click on it:
Under the Forum Code -> mouse over till the outside box highlights red -> then left click once:
This should auto highlight the code so all you have to do now is right click/then click copy-
click on the webpage tab to come back to forum post - then right click and past within the text or at the end of line. I'll put min in the next line below -
http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing/laughing-hysterically-smiley-emoticon.gif (http://www.sherv.net/emoticons.html)
Just click preview to check:
Let me know how that works?
Now -. because welcome did not work or I could not find what I was looking for -> You go to
Google
Under the search box you will see the following TABS:
Web Images Maps Shopping More Search Tools
Click on Search Tools:
Click on Type
Click on Animated
Also under the Tools Tab - you can [U]click on SIZE then -> Icon to filter out all the pigs pictures
____________________
You actually wont see them animate until you load the preview up and then you have to wait a little for it to load, plus in some cases they are not animated - (just have to keep trying)
Once you find something you like - right click/save as picture (direct to your download location on your computer -> example->[My pictures]
Now what you need is a FREE picture hosing site.
For this kind of think I use www.photobucket.com
One you have an account with a likewise photo hosting site -> Upload your picture (animation - AKA Gif file)
Click on that picture in your library or wherever you see it:
an IMG code should be present
Photobucket usually one requires one left click and it then copies for you:
Paste into your forum post box and preview.
__________________________________________________ ____
The second method I use for ones I can't find in the first method.
Whilst I use Photoshop for my Photography, I use Jasc Animation Shop which come with Paint shop Pro 8 (however you could just search for Jasc Animation Shop on Google maybe) ... anyways I use to Resize a lit of animations I find to big as well as just personalize a few I like. I made the following for a user name in another forum I use:
http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x30/davekyn/Daves%20Home%20Made%20Gifs/DaveAnimatedPenSignatureresized2.gif (http://s181.photobucket.com/user/davekyn/media/Daves%20Home%20Made%20Gifs/DaveAnimatedPenSignatureresized2.gif.html)
Of course I understand not everyone wants to make there own animation ... But it is handy to be able to re-size them with just a few clicks.
I do hope you found some of this useful Jesse .... I will finsih with one I just found searching on the internet - then saved to my Photobucket account which I think copied an pasted the [IMG] code link:
Dam it ... can only post 4 images .... I use it in my post to Tailspil to whom I have just seen post ... writing now tail spin ( : ) )

^ What's the coldest it usually gets in Australia? I'm pretty naive on the weather there, and I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that you guys have warm, Summery Christmases.. :P
Coyotes, possums, raccoons.... They're as exotic to me tigers and giraffes hehe!
I've got two pet opossums..no joke. They are pretty neat creatures..

Unfortunately people chase possums out of the house aggressively here as they can be quite the menace in the kitchen at times.
Australia has temperature of extremes - Depends where one lives as it seems to change dramatically.
When I used to work up in North West Queensland in the desert - it would be around 107.6 Fahrenheit or 42.Celsius Check this temperature out -> Oodnadatta, South Australia 50.7 C (123.3 F) on the 2nd January, 1960.
One winter I went camping and it went down to about -4celcious which is about 24.8farenheit - but where I am moving to will average around 18-25 Celsius all year round (that's good) ... something like that.
The lowest temperature ever recorded in Australia is -23.4 degrees/ -9.4 Fahrenheit, recorded in Charlotte Pass, New South Wales on the 29th June 1994.
It's pretty much Hot in Australia with Bush fires going Rampant - and the winters seem to be getting warmer in our colder regions as well. Although again, depends where in Australia - I think Tasmania is the coldest (generally) part of Australia, however its not attached to the mainland ... Australia is sometimes refereed to as an Island (Land Mass surrounded by water) ... It is part of the "Oceania" continent - It does sit on its own continental plate unlike Greenland - so geographically speaking, Australia is more often refereed to as a continent.
That is the lesson for today. :)
Hope you are well today Nevertoo fear. :)

Hope this finds you well Dahila,
Today I had a bit of a cry in front of the therapist. It's my last session with her - although we have set up a new one in the town I move to next. I had been seeing my current therapist for over 18 months - nearly two year more like. She was actually the first person to really help me. I will miss her greatly. I hope I will be able to open myself with the new lady. I really don't't open up easily, despite my willingness to online and as have done with current therapist. I'm just so over holding it all in I don't't think I will have a problem come to think of it.
Time for me to go back to cleaning the outside windows. Oh, I have touch base with an old friend - we have fallen out a few times, but he is happy to hear from me again. I will have cuppa with him later today.
I hope your card readings are giving you good energy, at least in as much as being able to help others when you are able. Wishing you well with your bread goals as well. Very hard not to eat such wonderfully made bread :)
Peace to you as well as Jesse and Tailspin ... hope those guys are doing alright? How about it guys ... you guys ok?
Dahila

Hi I envy you , I had never had therapist and I can not afford one. I hate cleaning the windows but later , it looks fantastic. The card reading takes so much from me, especially when is the one for people that had a really tough life. It was the case. I was able to give the hope and smile. The good energy comes from me naturally. It just happens, probably this is the reason that birds sit on my shoe or even the hand. Animals can sense someone who loves them. It is the most important. I pay high price for readings (for the last few years) with anxiety, and this is why I stopped doing it. I do it for my children and very close friends, because i have only two now is not that difficult. You remember , I just lost one.
I gave her a lot of reading, we had the best time together, I can not forget it. The pain is overwhelming, I hope it is going to get easier.

Hi Dave
I keep forgetting to check this subsection. I need to mark it with a little asterisks to remind me!
Just had a nasty bout of stomach flu. Life always seems quite pleasant after coming out of such a nasty period. Something about just being able to just go for a walk freely is so satisfying!
I hope everything is ok with Tailspin, it's been a while since I've seen her on here now. If you're reading tailspin, not meaning to stalk you or anything, just hoping things are ok.
@Dahila: My nephew is coming over tomorrow. Could you send me a big box of snow, so I can give him a white Christmas ;)
