I have menieres diease and that gave me anxiety. First time I was driving and all most passed out. Doctor stated that I had a Vasovagal syncope. Then things just kept happening and that's when I found out I had Menieres diesase. I have been fighting anxiety ever since. Mostly when I have heart palpitations, which sends me spinning and I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. I'm 44 years old and a little heavy, but everything has always checked out okay. I have been struggling a lot in the past 3 months. I was even afraid to go to the gym. I started back there and I'm trying to keep it up.

This anxiety stuff sure does stink.

Corey

oh ok. I see. you can try to occupy yourself and do more thing to see if it will help. you can also try drinking some peppermint or chamomile tea. I usually find that if i stay alone alot sometime i think too much and get anxious again. Maybe you can try staying around people like family or friends so you won't think or stress to much. i know i might not be much help but i hope the little info i provided helped you alot :)

If your anxiety is severe enough, you should seek out help from a psychiatrist. They are much more expert in these matters than a general M.D. Buspar might not be the best option, as there are a lot of other options out there (namely SSRI's). But that's up to you and your doctor. He or she can refer you to one if you think you need it.

But yeah, anxiety sucks, especially health anxiety. I always feel like I am dying of everything.
