Does anyone ever lay down then like almost go to sleep but wake up feeling like they can't get a breathe even though they can? Just curious

Nighttime can be particularly the hardest.

I usually just get anxiety about falling asleep. Therefore causing insomnia :(

Yeah mine always starts at night, usually before I go to sleep. I don't know why but all I can figure is my SSRI (that I take in the morning) is wearing off by that time. Most of the time I am fine in the day. Thank God my doc finally let me have klonopin. It usually helps to let me sleep at least.

Yeah i take xanax but just as needed heaven took it in awhile but think i better start

Yeah I have that happen quite often what I have found helps me is to go outside for a breath of fresh air and take deep breaths and concentrate on the fact that I am breathing fine.

I wake up feeling like a am being chased by a monster. Heart racing and I have to talk myself down. Then when I wake up its the first thing I feel in the morning. I hate it. Mine is work related. I stress over my job with bad eyes. I have several genetic Eye issues and I am working hard at keeping my job. Just because I know what is causing it does not make it go away......
