Ok I've been on propranolol 10mg for 2 years and is it just be but when you stand up really quickly you feel heart palpitations? I know it should stop the heart palpitations but for me it gives me them when I do sudden moves like get up real fast or if I'm awakening in the morning time and I turn over I get them to. Do you think maybe it's because this pill is suppose to help slower your heart rate and by me getting up so fast it takes time for my heart to catch up?

Have you had your blood pressure checked?
Probably it's fine, you're young. I don't know if you have the machine at home to check, I think supermarkets sell them for like $35 or whatever, but there's a chance that yeah, cos of the med, blood pressure alters a little when you stand, and that causes the symptoms to come on quickly. On a similar note, cos of the changes in circulation bb's cause, that can also make your heart palpitate a little, and make you feel dizzy when standing up. I guess if you had the machine you could check, but, it's not really that important to check, usually you can tell actually, just judging by your movement.
Maybe it's both? Maybe when getting up too fast it causes a small blood pressure change, and when in bed, it's a circulation issue?
I guess do everything that would affect stuff like that slowly? :p
