I suffered from my first SEVERE anxiety attack yesterday. I haven't had one like that in years. I woke up this mornings worried about getting another one and now I'm trying to keep myself in control. I know what this is. It's very annoying and I just want to be normal. I had to take a muscle relaxer yesterday for a muscle strain and I don't like taking medicine do of course I thought about it until I freaked out and started feeling like my whole body was numb and hot and awful!! You will be ok. Some of the more severe attacks take a little time to recover. During an attack you burn through so much energy it's ridiculous. It's best to try to replenish yourself as soon as you feel able to. What works for me is grape jelly and saltines.

Anxiety and panic attacks are annoying, I agree. I think all of us will agree on that. It's all over and you came out on top, and that's a triumph in itself :)
