I have been dealing with anxiety and depression since I was a child. It comes and goes. Each time it comes back it is a little different. This time it feels like it is all on the left side of my body. I feel like I'm having a stroke, even though the dr. I work for, tells me I am not. Has anyone else ever had "one sided" anxiety symptoms?

Yeah, I've had symptoms on one side before. Like many people with anxiety issues, I've been to the ER several times because I thought I was having a stroke or a heart attack. Obviously this wasn't the case.
If you haven't, get a little peace of mind and schedule a comprehensive physical, with blood work/CAT scan/EKG. And be upfront with the doctor about all your symptoms. I know that can cause anxiety in itself, but it's worth it.
FYI, I had a pinched nerve in my neck, and when I got nervous or stressed, my muscles would tense up immediately, creating pressure on that nerve. A pinched nerve can manifest itself in weakness in your arms or legs, a headache, or other symptoms.
By the way I'm new to this forum, my name's Andy.
