Black stools, penicillin VK

Hi all. I'm recently taking penicillin vk for abscess tooth for about 7 days. I've been getting black specks in my stool and it's solid stool still but there's black specks. Today it's been just super dark almost blackish. Not just black specs. I have pretty bad stomach pain from the antibiotics. My dr told me as long as it's not diarrhea or tarry I'm fine. Of course being a hypochondriac I think I have colitis. Also I think it's making me more sick. Like reversing the infection and making it worse. Please help.

Ive also started takin antibiotics amoxicillin for a chest infection and noticed that my stool is darker neat enough black also have tummy pain and was freaking out that i had appendicitis even thou ive had a ultrasound scan that came back clear!

The change in stool colour as really freaked me out today :(

And i do suffer with ibs so not sure if the pain is to do with that and sometimes my stool can be looser than other times but not diarrohea it freaks me out as my biggest fear at the moment is appendicitis
