Does a cold speed up your heart rate?

K, so I have been having heart flutters which have me scared. Now, I have acquired a cold.. Yay....and my heart rate is faster than normal it's 92 and beating hard. Is this normal with sickness? It's starting to really scare me... Between the flutters and heart rate I'm paranoid of a heart attack!
