Freakin out!

So ive had this right sides pain on and off for a couple of weeks now! And it doesnt seem to be gettin any better maybe a bit worse bt it aint there constantly and now i'm freakin out that ive got appendicitus :(

Been to docs,hospital and gp about this and 1 said it could be ibs and gave me some medication for it that doesnt seem to be helpin :(

I am booked in for a abdominal scan bt ow do i convince myself it aint appendicitis til then?
