Nausea/side effects escitalapram?

I've been taking escitalapram for 4 days and I'm constantly feeling sick and appetite has went - anyone know his long this lasts? I have health anxiety and I'm getting all worked up.

Hi Stacey. I take Lexapro (escitalopram) and while I did not have any side effects when I started it, I have had problems with another medication I tried. When I took Prozac many years ago I had bad nausea for at least a couple of weeks at the beginning. However, it did go away completely after that. And hopefully you will find that your nausea subsides also in a week or so. In the meantime, make sure you take the Lexapro with some food and try and eat small, regular meals to keep your blood sugar stable without overloading your tummy.
