went to doctors the other day and they said my blood test had come back from the lab from August and it had come up abnormal. apparently it was tested for my them too things on the sides of my thyroid.. and it was abnormal. she says that's what May have brought my symptoms and tngling on.. low calcium? today they've rang and said I need Togo to hospital for blood to make sure it's not just a one off so it can go straight to lab ?? I never go to hosp for blood so freaking out. Ianyone had anything like this?

Are u on medication cuz some medication can elevate blood test results

why would it come back now from august :/ and if it was august then maybe it could be a one off cos it's two month later now. my phosphate was high once and had to get it re checked and it went back to normal second time

It is slightly weird that theyve only contacted u now when the test was done in august.
Bt at least ther goin to retest u again now so u'll now rather than havin to worry about it all.
Fingers crossed it is just a one off x

Do you know what part of the lab result was specifically abnormal, and what the actual result (#) was? Was it your TSH? I have had some experience with thyriod issues, so let me know and I'll try to help!

Hi. my parathyroid (PTH) and calcium. got to get blood test for both tomorrow as we're abnormal :/

In a way, it's maybe a good thing? Perhaps this small-ish issue, that you can hopefully correct, will help alleviate some anxiety. I know a guy suffering badly, who's anxiety completely went when sorting his thyroid.

yes she did say it may b causing my symptoms and tingling so hopefully :)
