Hi! I'm new here. A new friend of mine recommended I check this out and it looks really cool! Now, about me. I'm 19 years old and have been dealing with panic since I was eight years old. For me, it's associated with sleep. When I was eight I started having panic attacks when I started trying to sleep anywhere that wasn't my home. Not much latter it changed to when ever I couldn't fall asleep, which sucks because I was diagnosed with insomnia at a young age... I like to travel and plan on studying abroad this summer, and I know that it's really going to be difficult for me. I have been away for a year, but I was never really happy because I couldn't really control my panic. It got better... but never perfect. I really wish it didn't exist as it's run my life for so long... And whenever I would go somewhere with friends and family I would just feel so stupid. But I really hope that I'll be fine this summer. I also do travel a lot, in spite of my panic. I just live with it. So yeah, that's my story. :P

I wasn't even anxious when I came here, I came for a friend. I've had panic attacks every hour, ever since.

Run. Run now and never look back. Go to a Mexican beach somewhere far away from technology, build a little wooden shack and eat fish and berries. You may just have a chance at being safe....

Pshhhh not true at all! A lot of times this site is my sanity! I cam be going coo coo for cocoa puffs and then read a few posts on here and it'll calm me right down :)

Lol friends yes. Related no. I've only known her for a day but we we hit it off pretty well :) we go to the same college.
