Hey everybody!
I'm new to this 'dealing with anxiety and depression' deal. I'm quite familiar, however, with HAVING anxiety and depression!

About a year ago, I finally decided to see a doctor about symptoms of bipolar. I'm getting that under control but I don't think my meds are what they need to be right now.

THAT being said... I'm just sayin' HELLO! I'll be posting more later :-)

Yikes, depression and anxiety are a terrible tag team of terror..the good news is that there's lots of support and understanding here..I hope you find this site as helpful as I have !

Well... I'm on Carbamazepine for mood stabilization. It seems to do the trick. I'm taking Prozac for depression. I don't think that's working at all, but I AM on a low dose... And I JUST was given Neurontin to help with anxiety.

My depression and anxiety really need work.

The only time I feel 'ok' around people is when I've been drinking. And I've stopped that.
